Current Senate Scoreboard
Bottom Line

Senator Roger Wicker seems likely to face little serious challenge in 2018. State Sen. Chris McDaniel, who nearly defeated incumbent Senator Thad Cochran in a 2014 primary, has now set his sights on Wicker. However, Wicker is a stronger candidate than Cochran and is not taking McDaniel lightly. In fact, the day before McDaniel entered the race, President Trump endorsed Wicker.
