Current House Scoreboard
Bottom Line

This is one of the very few Democratic seats at risk in the 2018 midterms. Incumbent Carol-Shea Porter won by less than a point in 2016 and will not be seeking re-election. The District has bounced back and forth between the parties in recent elections. At the presidential level, it’s been trending Republican. President Obama won the District by six points in 2008 and by just 2 points in 2012. President Trump carried NH-1 by two points in 2016.

It’s a very competitive district, but the general political trends give the Democrats a slight advantage.
