Bottom Line

It’s Oklahoma, so the Republican should win. The first forum or debate for the primary campaign attracted Lt. Governor Todd Lamb, state Sen. Connie Johnson, former Attorney General Drew Edmondson, Oklahoma City Mayor Mick Cornett, Tulsa businessman Kevin Stitt, former gubernatorial candidate and Tulsa businessman Gary Richardson, State Auditor Gary Jones, Broken Arrow businessman Rex Lawhorn and Bethany businessman Chris Powell. If no candidate wins a majority of the vote in the June 26 primary, the top two finishers will compete in an August 28 run-off.
