Current Gubernatorial Scoreboard
Bottom Line

It’s been 20 years since Democrats have held the Governorship in Nevada, but it’s far from clear that the streak will continue. State Attorney General Adam Laxalt is the early frontrunner for the GOP nomination. Mike Pence and many Republican Governors have already endorsed Laxalt. The Democrats expect a competitive primary between Chris Giunchigliani and Steve Sisolak. Both are Clark County Commissioners.
