Sixty percent (60%) of voters nationwide know that the State of the Union Address is coming “in the next few days.” A ScottRasmussen.com national survey found that 29% believe it will be given sometime later and 10% think it has already happened.
Just 34% know that the Democratic response will be given by Stacey Abrams. Forty-seven percent (47%) mistakenly believe that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will give the response.
Just 22% of voters say they are Very Likely to watch the speech. Not surprisingly, Republicans are more than twice as likely as Democrats or Independents to plan on tuning in (see crosstab results).

Ten percent (10%) think it’s Very Likely the president will win some new supporters with the speech. Eleven percent (11%) say it’s just as likely that the rebuttal will convince Trump supporters to change their mind.
