28% Believe Trump Committed Treason in Call with Ukrainian President

Twenty-eight percent (28%) of voters believe President Trump committed treason in his now infamous call with the Ukrainian president. That total includes 46% of Democrats, 24% of Independents, and 11% of Republicans.

By way of comparison, that’s lower than the number who believe the president committed treason in his dealings with Russia. That total has consistently been in the 30s all year, including a solid majority of Democrats.

So far, despite all the recent news coverage, the president’s job approval ratings have remained steady. We update these numbers weekdays at 5:00 p.m. Eastern.

Also, 44% of voters currently believe the president should be impeached and removed from office. That number, too, has remained steady all year. Next update on the impeachment question will be released next Tuesday, October 1.
