Ten percent (10%) of voters know that a Global Climate Strike is scheduled for this week. A ScottRasmussen.com poll found that 13% believe it is scheduled next week or next month. Seventy-nine percent (79%) are not sure.
The event is scheduled for tomorrow, September 20. Ten percent (10%) of voters say they’ve followed news about it Very Closely. Another 13% are following it Somewhat Closely. Forty-two percent (42%) are not following news about the event and 25% have never heard of it.
The Sunrise Movement, an organization of young activists supporting the Climate Strike and the Green New Deal, faces similarly low levels of visibility. Twelve percent (12%) of voters offer a favorable opinion of the group while 4% say the opposite. Sixty-two percent (62%) have never heard of the group, 15% offer a neutral opinion, and 8% are not sure what they think.

The national survey of 1,002 Registered Voters was conducted September 18-19, 2019 by ScottRasmussen.com and HarrisX, a polling company specializing in online surveys (see Methodology). Results from the full sample have +/-3.1 Margin of Sampling Error with a 95% level of confidence.
